CJC-1295 without DAC, also sold as Mod GRF 1-29, is a tetra-substituted analogue of GHRH (1-29) modified for improved stability in solution. It is used in pituitary somatotroph culture to study receptor activation and pulsatile growth hormone release, and NuVion stocks it in Australia as a 10mg lyophilised vial.

CJC-1295 No DAC structure and research use
CJC-1295 No DAC is the first 29 amino acids of GHRH with four substitutions that protect the chain from enzymatic cleavage and oxidation. It acts at the GHRH receptor on pituitary somatotrophs and signals through cyclic AMP. Ghrelin receptor agonists such as ipamorelin act at a different receptor on the same cells, which is why the two classes are compared in somatotroph work.
