Growth Hormones

The growth hormone sets group GHRH analogues with growth hormone secretagogues, the two classes used together in somatotroph and pituitary cell models. The GHRH & Secretagogue Pair combines CJC-1295 No DAC, a four-substitution GRF(1-29) analogue read out by cAMP accumulation, with Ipamorelin, a selective GHS-R1a agonist measured by calcium mobilisation. The Somatotropic Axis Set extends that across more of the axis.

The two receptor classes are studied together because they act at separate points on the same axis, GHRH receptor and ghrelin receptor, and produce different second messenger profiles.
