The immune signalling sets group thymic and host defence peptides for work in dendritic cell, macrophage, lymphocyte and epithelial models. The Immune Signalling Pair combines Thymosin Alpha-1, a 28-residue acetylated thymic peptide characterised in TLR2 and TLR9 signalling assays, with LL-37, the 37-residue human cathelicidin studied in membrane interaction and FPR2 receptor work. The two act through separate pathways, which is why they are commonly run alongside each other in the same experiment series.
Sets are supplied as separate sealed vials of lyophilised powder, priced below the combined cost of the individual compounds, and each vial is the same product sold on its own with its testing status shown on its product page. Grouping compounds in a set does not imply they should be combined in a single experiment; controls, concentrations and methods are for the qualified researcher to establish. Single compounds are listed in immune signalling peptides. Supplied as laboratory chemicals for in vitro research use only, dispatched from Melbourne.
